This sweet little black and tan girl is already house broke and kennel trained. She will walk on a leash but is still pulling a bit so a harness works better for her, and her leash training will need to be continued. España loves to chew and love on her toys and plays well with our other dogs. She loves her human interaction, attention and being petted/loved on. España is a real sweetheart and would be a wonderful addition to any family.
Watch my video on my meeting cats! (As part of our dedication to the welfare of all animals under our care, we conduct basic cat testing for dogs brought into our rescue. However, it's essential to understand that while we strive to assess their compatibility with cats, we cannot guarantee their behavior in all situations.)
Our sweet girl España was diagnosed with dysplasia in both hips and at such young age. She has received her first surgery and is in foster to finish her recovery. Once recovered she will have surgery on her other hip. Sends thoughts and loves for España.
Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and desexed. Cortez dogs are not microchipped.
