🐾 Meet Raptor – The Ultimate Chill Companion
Looking for a laid-back buddy who’s just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is exploring the outdoors? Meet Raptor, a Baja rescue dog with a big heart and a mellow vibe.
This handsome guy loves his beach walks and hikes but is also perfectly content lounging around and catching naps. Raptor isn’t food-obsessed—he’s a polite, self-feeder with zero begging or food aggression. Total gentleman. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and respectful of your space. He enjoys car rides (he prefers to ride standing up!) and has the quirky habit of eating while lying down—just part of his unique charm.
Raptor does best when left alone in a secure yard or cozy kennel, so he’s looking for a home with outdoor space where he can feel safe and relaxed while you’re away.
💛 If you're after a sweet, low-key companion who’s equal parts outdoorsy and cuddly, Raptor could be your perfect match.
Foster Updates: 11/2024: Raptor is a sweet, calm soulful dog. He’s mellow and does not bark. He is a lover and likes to be near you and loves to go where you go. Every day his personality emerges more and more, he gets a little more spring in his step, and he is learning how to play and enjoy life. Raptor loves the beach and is getting more comfortable with meeting dogs his size or bigger off leash, he is easy with smaller dogs. He has taken to swimming in just a few days of trying it out. I can’t say enough great things about this soulful pup. He’s a great size at only 42lbs. He sleeps all night, free feeds and knows basic commands.
Medical: Raptor has a history of Tick Fever but has completed his regimen of medication and has had a negative PCR test.
Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
