Scruffy is an absolute gem!

She’s incredibly lovable and affectionate, quickly winning over everyone she meets. In her foster home, Scruffy has done wonderfully — she’s had no accidents in the house and sticks to chewing only on her toys.

She enjoys meeting new people and has shown curiosity toward other animals, even trying to play with the household cat (though the feeling wasn’t mutual). Scruffy also gets excited when she sees dogs on the other side of the fence and would love the chance to make new canine friends.

With her sweet personality and excellent manners, Scruffy is truly a special pup who’s ready to bring love and joy to her forever home.

Foster Update: Scruffy is perfect! She is extremely lovable and snuggly There have been no accidents in the house, and she only chews on her toys - nothing else. All our friends adored her and Scruffy loves everyone. She tried to play with the cat, but cat was not having it. She is very excited about the dogs on the other side of the fence and wants to play with them.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
