4/28: current weight is 68 lbs
I was found tied up and abandoned at a house when more owners broke up & left me behind when they moved away.
Anubis is loving being free off of a chain & loves to run around the yard & does zoomies. He is smart & loving; he's learning to be a dog. He loves toys & chewies. He's walking good on a leash & is excited to meet new dogs & wants to play. His excitement & energy at first can make other dog uneasy but just seems to be happy to make friends. He listens well & is learning commands.
At his previous house the neighbours had kids and he loved them. We are still learning about Anibus as he is fairly new to us and doesn't have a foster home but has a secured yard & kennel area on a local's business's lot.
**Anibus can be leery of new people so proper meetings is a must. He doesn't seem to like hats & sunglasses & gives cues when uncomfortable with someone. Anibus did bite someone that reached through the gate of where he stays; he gave the person cues of his uneasiness beforehand but when the person still reached in & pet him roughly, that's when he bit him. We do think it was an isolated incident as he has never done that before or since.
