Meet Hope – A Gorgeous Pup with a Heart of Gold 
Say hello to Hope, a beautiful white Shepherd pup with a gentle soul, a crooked little smile, and a whole lot of love to give. She’s been with our rescue for a while now, moving from foster to foster, but she’s still holding out hope for the forever home she truly deserves.
Hope is an absolute dream when it comes to daily life—fully house trained, calm at bedtime, and a total pro on the leash. She knows her basic commands and loves to show off just how smart she is. Around other dogs, she’s a confident, social butterfly, though she’s still learning how to be gentle and welcoming with smaller, more timid pups.
Hope did test positive for tick fever when she arrived at the rescue but we are finally very happy to report Hope now tests negative for tick fever as of June 20, 2025 and she’s ready to live a happy, full life!!

Hope is being fostered in Baja Sur but can fly up to you anytime!
Health: Hope came in to the rescue testing positive for tick fever and although she is in great health otherwise she still is testing positive.
History: Hope's journey began in Los Barriles, B.C.S., where she and her brother Trooper were abandoned.
Before leaving Cortez Rescue, she will be given a full medical assessment to ensure she remains in optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. This pup is currently being fostered in Baja near Cabo San Lucas. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
