Meet Donut – Sweet, Gentle, and Learning What Love Feels Like 🍩🐾

Donut was rescued from an arroyo near Los Barriles along with her sister, Dandy. When found, they were scared, hungry, and battling skin issues, but thanks to a kind local resident, their lives took a hopeful turn.

Donut is a sweet young puppy with a soft heart and trusting eyes. She’s slowly realizing that she’s safe now — and that people mean kindness, warmth, and care. As she continues to heal, she’s starting to show her gentle, playful side.

She’s the kind of pup who will reward patience with loyalty and love. With a caring family by her side, Donut will soon blossom into the happy, affectionate companion she was meant to be. 💕

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
