Duke is a loving boy who bonds quickly. When he was rescued from the streets in southern Baja, his right, hind leg was badly injured and needed to be amputated. He has completely recovered and gets around easily without it. Since being in his foster home, we have found that Duke is crazy about chasing birds and lizards and cows and tends to get really sore so he needs his down time, even if he doesn't agree. His perfect forever home will be with someone who wants to take him on walks but not long hikes.
Before leaving Cortez Rescue, Duke will be given a full medical assessment to insure he is in optimum health. He is currently being fostered in Baja near Cabo San Lucas.
