Flora is a wonderfully goofy, sweet, fun pup. Although she may be a bit shy initially, she quickly becomes friendly and affectionate. She gets along wonderfully with all dogs and loves to engage in playtime with her furry companions. Flora enjoys chasing balls and playing with toys. On the leash, she is gentle and appreciates her walks. She's also fond of affection and is content to relax by your side.
Watch my video on my meeting cats! (As part of our dedication to the welfare of all animals under our care, we conduct basic cat testing for dogs brought into our rescue. However, it's essential to understand that while we strive to assess their compatibility with cats, we cannot guarantee their behavior in all situations.)
Health: Flora was experiencing some limping in her right front leg. An x-ray was preformed and an aged tibia fracture was observed. Per our Vet, surgery is not recommended. She will require rest when it flares up. Joint medication is recommended.
Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
