Meet Jenna – Still Waiting, Still So Ready
Jenna is a beautiful black girl with a soft splash of white on her chest and a heart that’s been quietly waiting far too long. She’s now nearing a full year at the rescue… and it’s time her life finally changed.
She’s affectionate, easy to be around, and naturally well-mannered. Jenna loves attention and will happily lean in for snuggles with anyone willing to give them. She enjoys her walks, is doing well on leash, and carries a nice, steady energy that makes her a really comfortable companion.
One of the things that makes Jenna extra special — she gets along well with the cats at the rescue, which opens the door for so many more homes.
She’s not demanding. She’s not complicated.
She’s just a really good dog who’s been overlooked.
And the longer she stays, the more you can feel that quiet longing for something more.
What Jenna Needs:

Now she just needs someone to choose her.
Because once she’s yours… she’s all in.
Jenna has been tested with our resident cats and may get along with your calm cat with proper introductions.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
Special Puppy Note: Puppies flying to Canada must be a minimum of 3 months old and Puppies flying to the US must be a minimum of 6 months old.
