Meet Lana – A Young Girl Learning the World Is Safe

Lana is a beautiful young female rescue, just under a year old, who arrived with her sister and is still adjusting to life at the rescue. She is currently in the vetting process and will be ready for adoption soon. Like many dogs new to rescue, Lana is sweet but unsure, taking time to observe and understand her surroundings before fully relaxing.

She responds well to calm energy and gentle interaction and will benefit from a patient home that offers structure, routine, and reassurance. As Lana settles in, her confidence continues to grow, and her true personality is beginning to emerge.

What Lana Needs:

Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
