For two years, Loreto has been overlooked — but we know his perfect match is out there. This stunning brindle boy is full of life, love, and loyalty. He’s the kind of dog who’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s splashing in the water, chasing a ball, or exploring new trails by your side.

Loreto walks beautifully on leash, comes when called, and radiates joy in everything he does. When playtime is over, he’s just as happy to curl up for snuggles and quiet time.

He’s not a fan of cats, but he’d be the perfect fit for an active home that wants a devoted companion with a heart of gold. After two years of waiting, Loreto is more than ready to trade the rescue life for the good life — and he’s hoping it’s with you. 🐾

Foster Update: He’s doing great! Still a little nervous about things, but LOVES his bed and stuffie. I can take him on the beach without a leash and he’s perfect. Hangs out right by my side. He wanders around outside the house but does not stray too far. Always comes when he’s called. He’s a perfect buddy.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
