Meet Mama Lyka! A calm and gentle young female. Lyka has a tender and loving demeanor about her and she is a terrific mama; even continuing to live with her puppies well past 4 months of age. She is playful and sweet and would make a loving companion to a family. Lyka is affectionate with everyone she meets, and with proper introduction, she gets along great with other dogs.

Lyka found her way into a local Mexican family’s yard, where she had a litter of 6 puppies. Thankfully, this wonderful family allowed her to stay in the safety of their yard, all the while caring for Lyka and her puppies.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
