Pinta is an absolutely gorgeous girl with the most eye-catching markings and a coat that turns heads wherever she goes. She’s incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than showering her favorite person with cuddles, kisses, and devoted companionship. Once she bonds with you, she’s your loyal shadow—always ready for snuggles and happy to show just how much she adores her people.

After a tough start in life (she spent time tied outside and raised her puppies there before being rescued), Pinta has blossomed into a loving, grateful dog who thrives on kindness and structure. She’s spent the past year in a shelter environment, and now she’s dreaming of a calm, understanding home where she can finally relax and shine.

Pinta is a talented athlete—she’s an amazing jumper with lots of energy to burn! She loves going on leashed walks (she’s great on leash) and would adore an active family who enjoys adventures together. A securely fenced yard where she can safely zoom around and play would make her so happy. She does best with clear boundaries and positive guidance to help her feel secure. When it comes to other pets, Pinta is a bit selective—she tends to do wonderfully with larger male dogs who give her space and match her energy, but she prefers to be the queen of the castle without female dogs or cats around. This just means she’d thrive as the cherished only pet in a home (or with a carefully chosen big male buddy after proper introductions). She’s not looking for a big multi-dog pack, but rather a special family who understands her preferences and can help her feel safe and loved.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
