8/28/24 Foster Update: Sabina is a gentle giant. We had the pleasure of Sabina's company for just a short time. After the first 24 hours, her tail wagged whenever you talked to her, while we petted her and sometimes even with just eye contact and a big smile. She loved to play, walk, and explore, and wanted to be involved. She was learning to come when called, and then she would snuggle up for some more attention. She learned which toys were hers and never chewed on anything else around the house. She was good when company visited. She is housebroken, with zero accidents. We managed to get her to swim in our pool the last day we had her. If we didn't need to go back home, we would have enjoyed fostering her for months. She would be a great addition to your family.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and desexed. All dogs are microchipped before leaving Mexico.
