I've found my furever family!

From Salvador's Foster parents: If someone is looking for a black lab, Salvador is the perfect one! He is such an amazing, loving dog and is a pure joy to have. Sal is so very sweet & smart! Although he loves to play, play, play, he also loves to snuggle and chill with his people. He crashes so hard at night that he puts himself to bed. It’s adorable! He loves chewing on bones and his toys, but he has never chewed anything else. Even though he is a puppy and loves to play, he is very calm, chill and well-behaved around the house.

Sal does not have a mean bone in his body. He loves kids and is great with them. He loves all dogs and loves when they want to play and is very good at sharing toys.

Sal is so VERY trainable. He is so smart, but really only wants to please his people. In two weeks of fostering, he has learned so much and learned commands faster than any dog I’ve ever met. He now knows how to “come, sit, stay, go potty & leave it.” Sal listens and obeys very well and is easily corrected with just a strong word. Nothing else needed. He is house trained and has begun going on command as well. He is crate trained and will sleep in his own bed all night with no issues. Sal is wonderful off leash which is fun down on the Baja. We can stay at the beach for hours and he is always off leash & always stays right by us. When we take him to restaurants, he patiently waits, like a good boy. He loves to ride in the car or quad… it’s his fave. He always brings his favorite football & shoe.

Sal will make an excellent family dog and would love to be somebody’s best friend. He would do better in a home with an active life. He loves hiking and going to the beach. He loves his football. (As you can see it has taken a beating in the last two weeks lol.) He loves to play fetch and chase. I can’t say enough about Sal… he is amazing & I’m so glad we got the pleasure of sharing in his journey. He will be missed dearly.
