Meet Trooper – Adventure Buddy, Couch Companion, and Loyal Soul
Trooper has a stunning white coat and a heart as big as his love for the great outdoors. Whether it’s hiking rugged trails, chasing waves on the beach, or riding shotgun in the car or on an ATV, this boy is always up for the next adventure.

He’s the perfect blend of chill and go — active when it’s time to move, calm and cuddly when it’s time to relax. Trooper is house-trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, and has spent most of his life in loving foster homes. Now, he’s just missing one thing: a forever family.

Trooper is gentle, affectionate, and quiet, with a deep loyalty to his humans. He’s incredibly smart and thrives when given structure and clear guidance. Due to his prey drive, he’ll do best with an experienced handler who can continue to help him succeed.

If you’re looking for a loyal adventure partner who’s just as happy curled up beside you at the end of the day, Trooper may be the one. He’s been waiting patiently — and he’s more than ready to give his whole heart to the right person.

Relocation is possible.

Foster Update: I would say that Trooper is super athletic and loves his walks and exploring. He would be a perfect trail dog for any mountain biker out there!! He is also super loving and never says no to cuddles. He can be a big talker/(singer?), but is not much of a barker- overall a really nice mellow guy to have around.

Trooper is quite the amazing boy. He prances and is all love ALL the time. He loves to play with other dogs of all sizes. He is calm, gentle and quiet. He only barks to alert but is not a barker. He walks well on a leash and enjoys his toys as well. This white Shepherd is a very easy and loving dog. 

History: Trooper has been with Cortez Rescue for a few years and is currently being fostered in Baja Sur near Cabo San Lucas. He has been with his sibling Hope for the better part of his rescued life.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
