💕 Meet Vilma – Gentle Soul in Need of a Little Love

Vilma is a beautiful young pup, under a year, who’s just starting her journey with us. She’s still finding her footing at the rescue—everything is new, and it’s clear she’s trying her best to understand this big, noisy world around her.

Right now, Vilma can be a bit apprehensive around other dogs, but who can blame her? She’s been through a lot of change in a short time. What’s impossible to miss are those soulful eyes—they tell the story of a sweet girl who just needs patience, kindness, and a little love to blossom into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.

💗 With time and gentle care, Vilma is going to make someone a truly special companion. She’s waiting for that person who can see past her uncertainty and show her what it means to be safe, loved, and home.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
