Perla is a beautiful and wonderful dog that will be a great addition to a home where the people like to go out and explore on hikes and car rides. She’s calm and has a peaceful temperament. Perla has been leash trained for basic commands like sit, heel and to be respectful of thresholds (meaning not barging through open doors or gates). In playgroup Perla does well with most dogs but her future adopter would need to carefully introduce her to other dogs to ensure compatibility. Perla has been away from the rescue with volunteers on pack walks and does great. Perla is alert around cats, so hard to say if she’s good with them or not. Temperament: Easy going, people friendly Resource guarding: None observed Prey Drive/Separation Anxiety: Unknown Perla was abandoned in Santiago, B.C.S. Before leaving Cortez Rescue, she will be given a full medical assessment to insure he remains in optimum health.
