Hello! My name is Xavier! I'm an easy going guy. I'm currently in foster in Baja, MX, but I can fly up to you anytime!!

Meet Xavier! This cheerful boy loves his walks, and with each passing day, he's mastering the art of leash skills. Recently discovering the joy of playing with a ball, he's a solo player for now. Xavier is a bundle of affection, welcoming all the pets you can offer. While he's generally laid back and chill, his goofy side emerges, bringing smiles all around. Xavier gets along well with other dogs and cats, and though he hasn't been tested with kids, his housetraining is on point. Ready to add a splash of joy to your home, Xavier is eagerly waiting for his forever family!

10/17/23 Foster update! Xavier continues to prove himself to be an excellent boy. Housetrained, knows how to use the dog door. Loves his bed and toys. He would prefer to have all your attention but is happy to play or lay in his bed. Pretty good with other dogs though not playing with them. Xavier would do best in a home with a dog similar size and age that wants to play or he'd be good just being an only dog. He'd go anywhere with you. 

5/23 Update! Xavier wasn't doing well at the rescue with other dogs so one of the volunteers took him to foster. He had 3 days to decompress and then was introduced to a pack of 5. He gets along great with all of them! Xavier likes toys of any sort and will happily play by himself. He likes to play fetch too. He is great on leash.  He can be a little protective over toys and food but he minds very well when corrected as he does not want to disappoint you. Xavier is well behaved, loves his pets, is quite chill and rarely barks. He would be happy to go anywhere with you. He is an excellent dog!

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, this pup will be given a full medical assessment to insure he remains in optimum health. Xavier is not microchipped.
