Hello! My name is Bud! I'm in foster in Baja, MX! But ready to fly to you!!

Introducing Bud!! This sweet and mellow boy was found wandering on the street and sadly there has been no response to the lost dog postings. Not sure of his age, guesstimates are between 2 and 5. Sometimes he plays like a puppy, but is often just a very mellow fellow. He is very quiet in and around the house, so perhaps a little older. He seems to be housetrained as there have been no accidents. He likes to stay downstairs close to the door, so maybe he was an outside dog. In the warmer weather he prefers to sleep outside, but when it gets a little cooler he has his favorite bed inside next to the door. He reacts well with other dogs, but prefers to ignore them. Maybe that is because he is the only male is a 5 dog pack. He walks very well on a leash, preferring to walk a foot or so behind you. Bud is totally fine off leash never straying far. He rides well in the car and eagerly jumps in when going for a ride. Bud knows his name and is learning to come and to sit. If there is only one word to describe him, Bud is mellow. His previous fosters describe him as the perfect gentleman! Both with visitors and other dogs. 

Bud is eagerly awaiting his furever home and would make a wonderful companion for anyone! 

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to insure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and desexed.
