Meet Waffles – The Sweet, Splash-Loving Snugglebug 🐾

Waffles is a handsome boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This playful pup is full of life and always up for a game of fetch or a splash in the water—he’s happiest when he’s running, playing, or diving into his playpool at the rescue.Waffles also has a soft, snuggly side. He loves curling up with the rescue volunteers and soaking up all the love and attention he can get. Waffles gets along well with many of the other dogs at the rescue, but he’s selective, so proper introductions are key to helping him make the right friends.

History: Waffles is from a litter of 10 puppies, which were found at a local garbage dump. He and all of his siblings were rescued and brought into Cortez.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
