Lizzi is a beautiful young female rescue, just under a year old, and she is now ready for adoption. After settling in and completing her vetting, this gentle girl is finally able to start the next chapter of her life — in a real home.

Lizzi is naturally sweet, soft in her ways, and quietly affectionate. She’s still gaining confidence in new situations, but every day she becomes more relaxed and more trusting. With kind handling and a steady routine, her personality continues to open up, and you can see the loving companion she’s going to be.

She does best with patient people who understand that shy dogs blossom with time. Once she feels safe, Lizzi is a calm, loyal presence who truly enjoys being close to her people.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
