Meet Lana – A Sweet Young Girl Ready to Feel at Home
Lana is a beautiful young female rescue, just under a year old, and she is now ready for adoption. She arrived with her sister and has been quietly adjusting to life in rescue, taking everything in at her own thoughtful pace.
Lana is gentle, soft-natured, and a bit unsure at first — but there’s a sweetness about her that’s impossible to miss. She responds beautifully to calm voices and kind handling, and once she starts to feel safe, her affectionate side begins to show. With consistency and reassurance, her confidence continues to grow each day.
She would do best in a patient home that understands shy dogs don’t need pressure — just time, routine, and steady love. Given that, Lana will absolutely blossom into a devoted, loving companion.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
