I'm a sweet girl. I am being fostered in Baja, Mexico but I'm ready to fly to you!!

Foster Update: Bonita is such a sweet girl! We have only been fostering her for a few days and she is completely comfortable in the home. Despite her rough beginning, she is not afraid of people. On the contrary, she loves everyone and is so happy to greet them. She is a lot smaller than she appears in the photos. I thought we were getting a much larger dog but she is quite petite. She minds well and is pretty chill for a puppy. We were gone for most of the day today and left her home alone. She was a good little girl and didn’t chew up anything! Although I think she might make a good watchdog, Bonita is not a barker. She is potty trained and does well in a car. This sweet baby girl will fit in nicely in most family scenarios. She would be a wonderful companion for a mature person who doesn’t want a lot of dog.

In a world where cruelty and kindness often collide, there emerges a story that captures the essence of resilience, love, and unwavering spirit. Meet Bonita, a brave soul who has endured the depths of human cruelty yet continues to shine with love and grace.

Bonita's journey began in the face of unimaginable cruelty. She was callously thrown from a moving vehicle, a stark testament to the depths of human indifference. A cable, a symbol of the heartlessness she faced, was tied around her neck. Despite the pain and mistreatment she endured, Bonita's spirit remains unbroken.

What sets Bonita apart is her remarkable capacity to love, even in the face of such hardship. Despite the betrayal she experienced, her eyes still sparkle with hope and trust. Her wagging tail and gentle demeanor speak volumes about her resilient nature. Bonita's ability to forgive and seek love highlights the innate goodness within her, showcasing her unwavering faith in humanity.

Now, Bonita is in search of a loving, patient family – a sanctuary where she can finally experience the care and tenderness she deserves. She is not just a dog; she is a symbol of hope, a reminder that love can mend even the deepest wounds. Bonita is an embodiment of the belief that every living being deserves compassion, respect, and a chance to live a life filled with love.

Are you the one who can provide Bonita with the love and security she so desperately craves? If you have the heart and home to offer this beautiful soul the love she deserves, you will be rewarded with a lifetime of loyalty, gratitude, and unconditional love. Let Bonita's story inspire you to make a difference and welcome this extraordinary survivor into your home. Together, you can rewrite the narrative of her life, turning the page from a tale of cruelty to one of boundless love and happiness.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to insure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and desexed
