Meet Dandy – Brave, Beautiful, and Learning to Trust 🐾💛

Dandy’s story began in an arroyo near Los Barriles, where she and her sibling, Donut, were found scared, hungry, and struggling with skin issues. Thankfully, a compassionate local resident rescued them and gave them the second chance they deserved.

Despite her rough start, Dandy is a gentle young puppy with a tender heart. She’s slowly discovering that people can be kind and that love comes with soft voices and full bellies. As she continues to heal and gain confidence, her sweet and curious personality is starting to shine through.

Dandy still has some growing and learning to do, but she’s already showing what a resilient and loving little soul she is. With a bit of patience and plenty of affection, she’ll blossom into a devoted companion.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
