Enzo was found on an abandoned property, hungry and malnourished. Since arriving at Cortez, we've all grown to love him and his love for life. He enjoys a good walk, loves hiking and minds well. Enzo has made many dog friends at the rescue and does quite well in a play group of 4 or 5 dogs. He recently has enjoyed being in a few foster homes and has captured hearts. “He’s a great dog!” is what everyone says. He gets along great with another dog in his current foster home. 

He sits, stays and walks well on leash. When excited, he does tend to jump on you, but he’s being trained and getting better at that all the time. He loves affection and just wants to be with his person. He loves an active life, rides well in a car, behaves himself well in restaurants and on pickleball courts, and is an awesome companion. Could you be his person? 

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, Enzo will be given a full medical assessment to ensure he remains in optimum health.
