Meet Greyson – A Great Dog Who Needs a Chance Outside the Kennel 🐾
Greyson is a truly wonderful young pup who’s been quietly struggling in the rescue environment. While he’s still the same sweet, playful, and loving dog at heart, kennel life has started to wear on him. In new or busy situations, Greyson has become a bit shy and skittish — not because he isn’t confident, but because he needs stability, consistency, and someone of his own.
Outside the stress of the kennel, Greyson shines. He enjoys other dogs, does well on leash, and loves to run, explore, and just be a dog. He’s gentle, affectionate, and very receptive to kindness. With patience, routine, and a little spoiling (okay, maybe a lot), Greyson will absolutely come out of his shell and bond deeply with his person.
What Greyson Needs:
A foster or forever home ASAP to relieve kennel stress
Calm, patient people who understand shy moments don’t define a dog
Love, structure, and reassurance to help him regain confidence
Greyson isn’t a “problem dog” — he’s a great dog who needs a break and a soft place to land. A home could change everything for him.
History: Greyson was rescued with his mother, Gemma, and 5 of his siblings. They were found living under a car in the community of La Capilla.
Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
