Meet Jenna – Affectionate, Well-Mannered, and Ready for Home
Jenna is a beautiful black young pup with a small splash of white on her chest that gives her a unique look. She’s playful and curious, but she also has a naturally loving temperament that makes her easy to be around.
She responds especially well to affection and seeks out snuggles from the volunteers. Jenna enjoys her walks and is doing well on leash, showing she has a steady, manageable energy level for her age.
She is still young, but she is not high-maintenance — just a sweet girl who wants connection, inclusion, and consistency.
What Jenna Needs:
A foster or adopter ready to welcome a young dog
Continued routine and gentle guidance
A home where she can be loved and included
Jenna is ready now to leave the rescue and grow up in a real home where she can truly thrive.
Watch my video on my meeting a cat! (As part of our dedication to the welfare of all animals under our care, we conduct basic cat testing for dogs brought into our rescue. However, it is essential to understand that while we strive to assess their compatibility with cats, we cannot guarantee their behavior in all situations.)
Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
Special Puppy Note: Puppies flying to Canada must be a minimum of 3 months old and Puppies flying to the US must be a minimum of 6 months old.
