7/19: current weight is 42 lbs
Junior's previous owner dumped him and left him to fend for himself so he had a rough start in life. Since arriving at our rescue, Junior has come out of his shell and is great with people both young and old. He plays well with many other dogs from the rescue. He is an active Lab/mix pup. He has great energy for walks and a lot of outdoor play activities. He loves water and does not hesitate to jump right in and swim. At the same time, Junior is a huge cuddler and enjoys receiving lots of pets and pats. Junior is currently in foster care and has nothing but positive feedback. He is completely house trained; can be left alone for several hours at a time; is learning basic commands; has no interest in cats and is learning to walk on a leash. Junior will definitely be a wonderful addition to a young family or active individuals. He will be given a full medical assessment before he leaves Cortez Rescue to ensure he remains in optimum health.
