Meet Leroy! Leroy was discovered by his rescuers while wandering the beaches of El Cardonal, a small town in Baja California Sur. He was in a dire state; emaciated, and covered in cuts and open wounds. Our kind-hearted friends at Cortez Rescue nursed him back to health, and now he's ready for adoption! Leroy adores his human companions and is sure to be a loyal and devoted dog to his new family. He's been enjoying playful interactions with his fellow kennel mates, although he tends to have a more vigorous play style, so he'd do best with dogs of similar size. It's worth noting that he may not be a good fit for a household with cats, but he'd thrive in a family with older children, as he's a robust and strong boy. Leroy has been neutered and received all his vaccinations. We estimate his age to be around 4 years. If you're interested in giving sweet Leroy a forever home!
Leroy was recently put in with a group of puppies during playtime at the shelter. Before that, one of the puppies started a fight with another dog. After Leroy was added to the mix, all the puppies settled down and they all got along.
