I've found my furever family!

6/23: current weight is 18.7 lbs

From foster mom: Mayah arrived scared of virtually everything. During the time I have had her, she has settled into a nice routine of sleeping through the night in a crate, going for a walk when she gets up, and having breakfast. She enjoys people after a minute or two but is a bit protective (not excessive) of the house. She is good with other dogs and just wants them to play with her.

We have been working on leash skills and while she has a long way to go before she will heel, she behaves reasonably well and no longer does summersaults when on a leash. She does not go willingly into the crate (except when I put her food bowl in it) but no longer fights it.

She barks a bit but usually stops after a minute or two. She loves a good couch nap and is very comfortable being held.
