Hello! My name is Nicky! Would you like to foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Baja, MX, but I'm happy to fly to you!

Foster Update 06/27/24     Nicky is a truly wonderful little gal. She is happy, chill and can be quite playful with her toys. She loves her doggie bed. She is doing amazing in the foster home with 6 other dogs of all sizes.  Her best buddy is an old, blind pitbull who she adores and she loves to shower him with kisses. She doesn't bark. She likes to be inside in the hot weather but likes to hang outside too. She's not very good on leash but she will be with more time. She does well in the car. She only eats her food but rushes in to lick all the other bowls when everyone is done eating. She's done well when an unknown dog arrives. She really is a perfect little dog. So easy and charming.

Little Miss Underbite! AKA Nicky is the sweetest girl, who was found abandoned at a construction site in Los Barriles (Baja) a few months ago. Several workers had been feeding her and caring for her but none could take her in. Though they were sad to see her go they were happy to see Nicky get a chance at a new life. Nicky is a survivor. After being tossed away and living alone outside on a deserted hilltop for months, fending for herself, it is amazing to see how resilient she is. Nicky can be shy at first but once she trusts you she turns into a snuggle bug who just wants to be a part of the family. She gets along with everyone. Loves people and especially enjoys playing with other dogs. Nicky would make a great companion and is super mellow. She just loves hanging out with you and will adapt to whatever life throws at her. Nicky is approximately 3 years, fully vaccinated and spayed, so ready to join your pack! Nicky is not a barker, she doesn't jump up or have separation anxiety and has the most adorable underbite! She is currently being fostered with a wonderful family full of love and dogs but she really is looking for her own dedicated family so she can get on with her new life. You will never regret bringing Nicky into your life! She is the perfect Baja pup.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to insure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and desexed. Cortez dogs are not  microchipped.
