Ollie is a 2.5-year-old Baja rescue with a sharp mind, a big heart, and energy that needs the right outlet. This handsome herding/collie mix is as intelligent as he is engaging — the kind of dog who wants to be part of your life, not just along for the ride.

After coming into rescue, Ollie spent the last 7 months at The Dog School in San José del Cabo, where he’s built a strong foundation in obedience and social skills. He’s done the work. He knows his commands. He’s ready to take that next step into a real home.

Ollie thrives with structure, activity, and connection. He loves walks, games, and anything that keeps his mind engaged. He’s not a fit for a quiet, low-energy home — but for the right person, he’s an incredible companion.

He bonds closely with his people and prefers to be your main focus, so he’s best suited as an only dog. No cats or small children.

What Ollie Needs:

Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
