09/29/24 Foster update: Suerte is super kind and quiet. He gets along with our dog, never barks. He is very easy. Needs leash training and not sure about car rides yet.
Suerte was found in the median on the highway after being hit by a car. A Cortez Volunteer got him to the vet and he immediatly received surgery to amputate his tail as it had been terribly mangled. He also received surgery for a broken hip.
11/09/24 Foster Update! Suerte is a great dog, very sweet and faithful. He is house pottied trained and can go 8 hours without going outside. He follows me everywhere like my little shadow. He is good with other dogs. He knows how to walk on a leash. He is great with kids.
Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and desexed. All dogs are microchipped before leaving Mexico.
