Meet Tank – Goofy, Playful, and Full of Heart

Tank is a young black-and-tan pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s playful, curious, and loves being part of whatever is happening around him — whether that’s exploring the yard, chasing a toy, or tagging along with his people.

While Tank has plenty of puppy energy, he also has a surprisingly gentle side. At the rescue, he’s known as our resident “puppy wrangler.” He loves playing with the very young pups and naturally helps teach them how to behave, share space, and play appropriately. It’s a role he takes seriously — and kindly.

Tank is affectionate, social, and happiest when he feels included. He would do well in a home that enjoys an active, playful dog but also values good social skills and guidance as he continues to mature.

What Tank Needs:

Before leaving Cortez Rescue:  All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
