Meet Wesson – Loyal, Focused, and Easy to Be With

Wesson is the kind of dog who settles naturally into life with his person. He has a great balance of energy and calm — happy to go for a walk, then just as content relaxing beside you on the couch.

He is excellent on leash with no pulling and shows no reaction to other pets while out on walks. Wesson is people-focused and happiest simply being with his person. He doesn’t need another dog to keep him entertained — your companionship is what matters most to him.

One of Wesson’s favorite activities is playing fetch. He absolutely loves the game and will track down a ball wherever it lands. It’s something he truly enjoys and a great way to bond with him.

Wesson is also a smart dog who enjoys learning and responds well to guidance, making him easy to work with.

What Wesson Needs:

• A home where he can bond closely with his person

• Regular walks and playtime (especially fetch)

• Someone who appreciates a loyal, people-focused companion

History: Wesson is part of a litter of 10, and was found at a garbage dump near La Ribera in Baja Sur, Mexico.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
