Wynter is a beautiful Baja girl with a tender heart. She can be a little timid at first, but with patience and kindness, she quickly shows her affectionate, loving side. Once she feels safe, Wynter bonds deeply and will happily soak up all the attention and snuggles you’re willing to give.

She’s treat-motivated, which makes building trust and teaching new skills a fun, rewarding process. Wynter also enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well in a home with a canine friend to help her feel secure. Because she’s on the sensitive side, a quieter home with children over 10 would be the best fit.

What Wynter needs most is time, patience, and love — and what you’ll get in return is a devoted companion with the sweetest heart. If you’re ready to give Wynter the safe space she deserves, she’s ready to blossom into your loyal best friend.

History: Wynter is part of a litter of 10, and was found at a local garbage dump.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, be current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
