Come join us for the Cortez Rescue Open House in Las Cuevas!

 We’re opening the doors to our main rescue facility in Las Cuevas (a short 15 minutes from Los Barriles) on December 28 from 12 PM to 2 PM, and everyone is invited. See where the magic happens, meet the team, and learn more about the important work Cortez Rescue & Outreach does in Baja California Sur.

What to Expect at Cortez Rescue Open House

During the open house, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at our rescue facility. Meet the puppies and adult dogs currently in our care, tour the grounds, and discover how we provide food, medical treatment, and love to dogs in need. We’ve made lots of improvements to our kennels and now have a 2nd small air-conditioned casita for “puppy snuggles!” Our dedicated volunteers will be there to answer questions and share stories about the rescue journey.

Enjoy Refreshments and Good Company

We’ll be serving refreshments and hot dogs, so bring your family, neighbors, and friends. The open house is casual, welcoming, and a great way to spend an afternoon. If you’re coming from Los Barriles, it’s just a short 15-minute drive to Las Cuevas. Grab your friends and carpool out. We promise it’s worth the trip!
