Cortez Rescue Volunteer Meet & Greet Event at Mini-Cortez on Calle Don Pepe

This event is for ALL Current, Past and New Volunteers as well as All of our Foster Families.

Snacks, Wine, Beer and Refreshments will be provided.

Join the Cortez Rescue Volunteer Meet & Greet to discover how you can help dogs in the East Cape. This annual event is a welcoming opportunity for anyone who wants to make a difference. Whether you have a few hours a week or more time to give, we will help you find a way to contribute.

First, Meet Our Volunteers
At the volunteer meet & greet, you can connect with current volunteers and hear their inspiring stories. They will explain how they contribute to our mission. You can also learn about ways to get involved — from walking dogs to fostering, fundraising, or offering professional skills. Every action matters in our rescue work.

Next, Discover the Mission Behind Cortez Rescue
Cortez Rescue & Outreach actively rescues abandoned and neglected dogs across the East Cape area. We provide food, medical care, and shelter at our rescue until pups can move into foster or find loving forever homes. In addition, we run spay and neuter programs and community outreach. Volunteers are essential to our mission and our success.

Finally, Why You Should Attend
This event offers light refreshments and a chance to ask questions and just hang out to get a feel for what we are about. You will meet our team and see how your help can make a real impact. Many of our volunteers started by attending this event and became an important part of our rescue work.
